Geocaching is a free real-world outdoor treasure hunt. Players try to
locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using a smartphone or GPS
and can then share their experiences online. I have seen this used in an outstanding Geography department and it had huge success attracting all parents and students and was even mention in the local media.
